An oil damped spring element is fitted for suspension.

The spring covers a wide range of load. For further adaptions to the individual use of the Trike, like carrying more luggage or an alternate use by two persons, the spring preload may be adjusted or a stiffer spring may be fitted.

It is important to ensure that the suspension does not seize up if the preload is too low. A too high preload results in less suspension travel. Both affect the riding comfort.
